Maine Cherry Wood Smoked Sea Salt

st_newengland250.jpgPure sea salt is slowly smoked over cherry wood. Our salt is 100% natural, wood smoked, with no artificial flavors or additives. Choose between fine or coarse grain.

Fine grain adds a touch of crunch when used as a finishing salt or works very well in cooking, marinades, or rubs.

Our coarse grain is a wonderful finishing salt with a soft, mild crunch. Can also be used in a grinder.

Both salts are dry sea salts.

Use As a Finishing Salt on:
Meats, Poultry, Seafood
Eggs Dishes
Rice or Potatoes
Composed Salad with meats and/or cheeses
Ice Cream
On top of Chocolate or Caramel Sauces

Use in Cooking with:
Stews and braises
In a Rub or Marinade
In Chocolate or Caramel Sauces

And don't forget to throw a grain or two into your next glass of ale or dark rum cocktail!

    My Jewish, Muslim, vegetarian, and vegan friends who avoid pork, and those who converted after having tasted bacon, really love this salt. Hearty and aromatic, it's awesome on eggs! I'll also use it on pork roast, roast chicken, and grillin' meats.

    I've been a fan of the Danish smoked salt for at least 5-6 years and didn't think anything could hold a candle to it. I was wrong. This Cherry Wood salt is fabulous! I won't use it in place of the Danish, because each has a unique flavor, but they're definitely tied for first place in my kitchen.

    Favorite uses: Bloody Mary's, brown or wild rice, potatoes of any type fixed any way, homemade apple pie, fresh strawberries or blueberries (really!), clam chowder (white), fresh green beans.

    I thought it would be tough to find a product to compete with the Viking Smoked Sea Salt, but this Cherry Wood Smoked Sea Salt is great! I love it! The flavor, intensity & aftertaste are wonderful, natural and clean! i tried it on ice cream as suggested and it was out of this world!

    Superb on chops and steaks. Have even tried it on Bison with great results.
