These lovely rose-colored Pakistani Himalayan Pink Salt Bricks are extremely versatile. The brick-shaped blocks can be used as a serving dish for moist food (such as sushi or cheese), as the brick imparts a mild salty and mineral flavor unique to Himalayan salt. The bricks can also be slowly heated in a 400-500 degree oven or on the grill, and then used to sear seafood, or thin beef or pork tenderloin strips.
These Blocks are hand-cut. Thickness is 2".

-Use as a serving platter for moist foods such as sushi, fruit, vegetables and cheese.

-Freeze the brick for 2 hours, and then top with scoops of ice cream or sorbet.
-Place on outdoor grill for a twist on regular grilling—perfect for both sweet and savory dishes. Try grilled peaches, bananas, asparagus, or Portobello mushrooms.
CARE AND CLEANING FOR YOUR PINK HIMALAYAN SALT BLOCK:
-After each use, simply wash with warm water and a soft brush. Pat dry with paper towel before placing on a drying rack. This removes a thin layer of salt from the brick.
-No detergent is necessary as the salt has inherent antimicrobial properties—making your brick safe to use for years!
-Store in a zip bag, especially if you live in a humid region.

I ORDERED 3 OF THESE BRICKS TO EXPERIMENT WITH,IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. WE HAD PRE CUT SLICES OF FILET OF BEEF, HALIBUT,SHRIMP,VEGGIES AND SIDES. LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING THIS AGAIN WITH MORE FRIENDS. I WILL BE ORDERING THE 6" ROUNDS FOR SOME COLD ITEMS.
