Maldon Sea Salt is harvested at the coastal town of Maldon in Essex, England. It has been a salt-producing center since the middle ages, although legend has it the secret of salt-making from sea water was discovered here over 2,000 years ago when the Romans ruled Britain. Maldon continues to develop the traditional saltmaker's craft to produce Maldon Sea Salt, the most unique sea salt crystals available.

I imagined how the perfect salt would taste on top of my favorite foods including scrambled eggs, tomato sandwiches on thickly sliced home-made bread, spaghetti tossed with chopped garlic, virgin olive oil and sundried tomatoes. And then I searched your Website for it and found Maldon: A light flaky sea salt that you can crumble between your fingers or just sprinkle without crushing for a crunch of delicate-tasting salt. You never forget the meal, you never forget the salt. Maldon.
