This oil is a blend of four olive varieties: Arbequina, Picual, Hojiblanca, and Morisca. The blend is the secret to the oil's unique style, complexity, and fragrance. It has a fresh fruity flavor with a touch of almond, hints of asparagus and artichoke. Beautiful peppery finish. A well-balanced, elegant olive oil.
Use Marques de Valudueza Spanish Olive Oil as a finishing oil drizzled on salad, vegetables, meats, seafood, poultry. Wonderful as a dipping oil with rustic breads and sea salt.

This is definitely a pricey olive oil but so worth it. I honestly think the flavor is even better then the tuscan oils. There is a really nice peppery finish but it is not as overwhelming as some of the best Italian oils. Can't live without this during the summer.
