As environmentally beneficial as it is flavorful and colorful, these apricot-colored gourmet Murray River Pink Salt Flakes are more delicate than even fleur de sel, considered “the satin of salts.” Because salinity affecting Australia’s vital water supply and agricultural land is the country’s worst environmental problem, your support of the producers of this salt stimulates removal of salt from sensitive areas. Murray River Pink Salt Flakes are produced by feeding saline water from the Murray Darling Basin into crystallizer ponds, where it is naturally evaporated at a very high rate in N.W. Victoria’s arid climate.

we use murray river pink salt flakes for everyday use...it used to be for special occasions, but we finally surrendered to the fact that we don't want to use anything else...we now buy the 5 pound bags...if you try it once, you'll be hooked

This salt is just wonderful. The flakes are light, fluffy and it works so well with anything that needs salt.
I order 5 lb bags so I never run out!! :)

I love this salt-I use at t he table instead of regular salt and it just gives an extra zip to whatever I'm eating that needs salt. I especially like it on fresh tomatoes.

I love fancy-pants salts and have a dozen or so at any time but the one I couldn't do without is the Murray River. It's got a great soft saltiness and a subtle sweetness. The peach color is beautiful. Especially on the rim of a cocktail. My wife even carries some in her purse for when we go out to eat!

I love this flake salt - it is pink and super light. I like to to finish off any dish with it, especially salads. I'd recommend Murray River Pink Salt Flakes to anyone who is looking to try something delicious and unique, but that you can also put on anything! Great salt!
