Ravida Extra Virgin Olive Oil is an estate bottled and produced extra virgin olive oil from the southwest coast of Sicily, Italy. The olives are grown without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. Olives are pressed within 8 hours from picking by continuous centrifugation and by cold extraction - and the resulting oil is unfiltered. Intense fruity aroma with flavors of green grass, tomato, and almonds. Ravida was the first estate-bottled oil from Sicily to win an Italian national evoo competition - and over the years received both 1st and 2nd place awards in L'Orciolo d'Oro.
Use on salad greens. Drizzle over cooked vegetables, especially roasted red peppers. Season grilled or broiled seafood. Finish a steak with oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Use to season bean dishes. Dip warm bread in oil with a touch of sea salt.
