Wagyu Cognac Seasoning Salt marries perfectly Wagyu golden oil to the rich flavors of Cognac, caramel, and vanilla. The unique blend of artisanal sea salts from around the globe adds surprising layers of texture. The blend is enriched with Wagyu golden oil, enhancing the natural Wagyu flavor reflected in the steers’ diet and terroir.
Ingredients: A blend of various sea salts, smoked salt, peppercorns, vanilla, natural flavor, spices, Wagyu oil.
Use as a finishing salt.
Our favorite pairings and uses for this great blend:
- Rim your favorite Cognac-based cocktail
- Sprinkle on your next steak after cooking, Wagyu if available!
- Season a beef roast after cooking and resting
- Finish Roast duck or pan-fried duck breasts
- Try on grilled salmon

DAnish Viking has always been my go-to salt, but this Wagnu adds intriguing flavors to steak, duck, chicken and lamb:). Next I will try it on eggs! I failed to notice the instructions to refrigerate the salt for more than a week, but it still tastes wonderful (and now lives in the fridge). Perhaps a notice on the actual packaging would help?
