Our Wagyu Larder Seasoning Salts were created in conjunction with James Beard Award winning chef, restaurateur, and innovator Jimmy Schmidt. Chef Jimmy is executive chef at Morgan's in the Desert at La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, CA. When he is not minding the stoves at Morgan’s, Chef Jimmy devotes his time to the science of nutritional product development. The holder of numerous patents, he pioneered protein and fiber bonding to create great-tasting nutritious foods and launched Jimmy Juice in 2012. He also founded FoodShed Exchange - The Ultimate Food Journal and Marketplace in 2013. He has served as the director of sports nutrition for GM/Corvette Racing and coordinated catering services for the “24 Hours of Le Mans” race in France since 1999.
Wagyu Larder Seasoning Salts are truly unique and the first of their kind. These seasoning blends combine artisanal sea salts from around the world and are laced with aromatic spices and enriched with Wagyu golden oil, an oil rendered from American-raised Wagyu cattle. These stellar salts create the perfect seasoning for the noble Wagyu beef steaks, as well as potatoes, rice and grains, vegetables, poultry, seafood, or pork.
These seasoning salts are enriched with Wagyu golden oil. The oil is made from rendered American Wagyu Beef suet and bones. Pure and full of flavor the oil contains several omega fatty acids.
